Chemical Animals & Christmas

Just want to start out saying, Merry Christmas :) hope you all had a great christmas!

so to celebrate Taylor coming home for the holidays, we decided to have a date day :) (last saturday, i know i'm hecka late but when he's in town i'm always way more busy than normal)  we first went to togos and when we parked, this sign was in front of our space:

made me wonder what is reallly going on around there for this to be needed lol....

we then did some Christmas shopping for the animals and my mom and after went to watch the hobbit

loved it! it was very long but well worth it!  can't wait for the next two to come out!!  i love the lord of the rings trilogy lol

i did find this little guy :D  i wanted him so bad lol but he was $90 that i don't have and would i really be willing to feed him crickets?  i think not, anything that jumps (besides frogs and toads) i run from lol i'm a big wuss

but i just found him so adorable!

for christmas i made these:

these are peanut butter cupcakes with peanut butter frosting! a huge hit with my family and Taylor's :)

these are chocolate coffee (mocha?) cupcakes with coffee frosting...well...its more like a glaze.  it just wouldn't corporate with me! lol i got very frustrated with theses ones

i made the coffee ones for taylor's aunt.  her birthday was on the 21st , and i like to make people food for their brithdays :) it makes them happy in my head lol

now for christmas day talk!!!

so yesterday me and chum chum decided that we were going to run even if it was raining outside.  which is exciting for me since it was raining off and on and i love the rain lol

we had first decided to run 8 miles (and if you follow me on twitter you already know what's coming), then it got bumped to 10 miles, then around mile 5 told chum that i wanted to run 12 if everything was feeling right.   i miss calculated and we got to 13 miles, i then was determined to get 13.1 so i ran up and down my street a little until i got 13.1 miles :D  took me 2 hours and 18 minutes.  my neighbors probably think i'm a freak for running up and down the street but i really don't care.  i got 13.1 miles.  i'm stoked!!!

i'm a little sore today, mainly just the outside top part of my thigh.  i know my planks are going to hurt like hell today lol good thing i'm only doing weights/strength training today.

then me and chum chum are getting our after christmas shopping on :)
